The CV
Lauren is a writer and editor from Atlanta, Georgia.
She is a graduate of the University of Georgia (B.A. Communication Studies) and Goldsmiths, University of London (M.A. Creative and Life Writing).
Previously, she worked in editorial at Scribner, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, in New York City, where she had the pleasure of managing her own front and backlist titles, as well as assisting on multiple New York Times Bestsellers and a Pulitzer Prize winner.
As a developmental editor, Lauren collaborates with clients from around the world to prepare their work for publication in the US, UK, and Canada. Many of her clients have gone on to sign with literary agents at well-regarded agencies in New York and London, ultimately landing multi-book, six-figure deals.
An avid traveler, prolific reader, and unabashed consumer of reality television, Lauren also serves as a board member for Atlanta’s historic Callanwolde Fine Arts Center.
